It all depend what kind of cricketer you are. I'm a leggy so I do weights to bulk up the shoulder and I like to hit the ball hard so a good upper body will do me good. I do cardio stuff too cause it's always good to be able to run fast and take a lot of 3's and not get fatigued that easily.

In troubled times, being philosophical helps a great deal, it helps you to remain sane and not do any further damage.

I'm mainly doing cadio at the moment to get my fitness up. Last season i was bowling good pace but i got tired after 3/4 overs due to my lack of fitness. This year i'm in the gym on the bicycle and running machines to improve my general fitness.

I'm also lifting machine weights to bulk up my upper body.

And finally i do a bit of work on balance, in theory very simple stuff but in practice quite difficult.
