hi there i was wondering what is better have more grains or less and why ?Confused

Take time with your posts first, forums are different to messenger. Also this should be moved to the Equipment forum.

The more grains there are, the harder and better quality the wood is. For example, the wood in the centre of a tree with many rings is harder than the wood on the outside.

This has been discussed before and as a bit of a general rule of thumb, around 8-12 grains is probably the best for striking a combination of durability in the wood and its hardness.

generally more grains = better bat...but this is not always the case.
