Maybe we can recruit him to open for the West Indies.

I think give him one last crack in Sydney and if he can't score a century or a big fifty, say 80 or 90 than that should be it. I'm sure the West Indies would ditch Chatergoon to have that combination coming in Wink.

West Indies are desperate for players. They will even try to snap up Zimbabwes Brendan Taylor (if thats the correct name)

I predict Hayden to score double century.

I think the fact  that the Aussies are nnot doing well has also put him under more pressure. Look at India. They have done really well and hence has carried Dravid along for almost 2 years and finally he delivered.

But Dravid's 35 and Haydos is 37 so that is a worry as well. But he has done so well and yet has been an under rated player according to me. I'd give him a few more chances.

I disagree India do not have a replacement for Dravid. He is such a good player that its really difficult to replace.
I think Hayden should play till Ashes but even if Hayden retires it wont hurt Australia so much becuz they have good opener waiting for a chance.

Hayden have citensonship for St. Kitts so all he needs is one season in our domestic competition then we can unleash him back against the Aussies in a few years.

No, he and Gibbs got it during the last WC.  Gibbs because of his 6 sixes an over and Hayden for his quick century I think.

Yea he did get citizenship as far as I remember. Haydos has been a class act and it will be hard to replace someone with 30 test centuries at the top of the order. His figure was such an imposing one that it creates fear in the bowler's minds.

Mystery I don't think agree with you. We have Subramanium Badrinath, Cheteshwar Pujara (tons of runs this season, including 2 300's), Murali Vijay all waiting in the ranks to get that no 3 position.

Yes he was a imposing figure but its only look good when you are in form even the tail ender looks dangerous if they are in form.
I wont say anything else on it only time will tell how good they are.
