Hi,

I'm interested in purchasing some Aero gear but I am unsure on how other people rate them. First off, I'll tell you a little about my batting technique and my size so you get an idea of how they'll be used.

I usually open, so I basically play the ball on its merit and generally score runs on my off-side as that's my strongest side. My favourite shots are the Cover Drive, Front-Foot Defence, and Straight Drive.

The question is, if I purchase a pair of Aero pads and gloves, do you think I'll be happy with them. Do they offer good protecting etc..?

Kind Regards,

Thomas W

The strippers are excellent for thigh protection.

The pads are great once you get used to them, as long as you can put up with the constant "hilarious" comments you will get when batting in them, and you would find it very hard to go back to a normal 3 strap pad after wear them for a while.

I don't know about the gloves, I have never even seen them in person.

The gloves are fine but a bit too light for my likings. If you use a single grip bat then these gloves wont suit you.

Thank you for the replies, I believe I'm going to stick with my current pads.

Kind Regards,
