Here's a sneak peak at the film 'Fire in Babylon'

'They brought the world to its knees,
and a nation to its feet.

Fire In Babylon is the breathtaking story of how the West Indies triumphed over its colonial masters through the achievements of one of the most gifted teams in sporting history.

In a turbulent era of apartheid in South Africa; race riots in England and civil unrest in the Caribbean, the West Indian cricketers, led by the enigmatic Viv Richards, struck a defiant blow at the forces of white prejudice worldwide. Their undisputed skill, combined with a fearless spirit, allowed them to dominate the game at the highest level, replaying it on their own terrifying terms.

This is their story, told in their own words.'

Being a proud West Indian, i'll definitely be watching this someday.  I ain't one to get into race debates etc, that's no issue of mine but just to see my region conquer the cricketing scene for so long even I wasn't born for most of it, i'm still mighty proud of that!

In troubled times, being philosophical helps a great deal, it helps you to remain sane and not do any further damage.

Being a cricket fan I'm proud of this team. The best team to have played the game for me. What they've achieved hadn't only given a few prejudice a rude awakening but also inspired lots outside of the caribbean.

Glad a movie on them there. They are heroes in every true sense and their feats and stories need to be highlighted and told for generations to come. I'll definitely be watching this one.
