Anyone watched any of those race?  Those Jamaicans are electric, Usain Bolt you beauty!!  I'd give anything to see him run and to watch Jamaica run the 4 x 100m relay!

I tend to watch a lot of Athletics when it's on tv, an olympics, world champs or commonwealth games for example. Wouldn't bother going in person though, looks like there is too much going on at once and i'm easily confused.

Well, another Jamaican doing impressive stuff, Yohan Blake clocking second fastest 200 metre speed in history, 19.26, only being Bolt's 19.19.

On another note, how many think Bolt is the greatest athlete ever?  I do, for now athlete.  I don't think anyone has took down records as fast as he has done.

We said the same thing about Asafa Powell and now Bolt has picked him off his stool.
I didn't think anyone would better Federer, then Nadal came along and now he's losing to Djokovic...

Not necessarily the samething Mikey.  Although i'm a huge Federer fan and he's my favourite Tennis player, he never occured like someone who know one would get better than.  I saw Nadal since he started playing Tennis on the big stage and knew he would always be up under Federer for titles.  Nadal is a far superior athlete than Federer and in Tennis, that plays a big part.  Guys with huge forehands can usually trouble Federer...

In the case of Bolt, since 2008, he's had no competition whatsoever.  No one has came close to beating him.  Federer has always had his close competitors even in his prime.  Nadal was his nemesis on clay court.  Wherever Bolt went, it was a sure loss for the opposition on the big stage.  Taking down world record after record is a great achievement.  Yohan Blake is now showing good signs but it would be scary to imagine anyone running faster than Bolt....

And maybe the outside world thought no one would catch up on Powell, but if you had asked those Jamaicans, many was tipping Bolt to beat him before Bolt was known to others.  Ofcourse, the outside world would have had their money on Powell.  I usually learn from the Jamaicans on who to look out for, and the scary thing is, they're saying look out for another one in 2016.  They were even talking up Yohan Blake even before his recent impressive performances.

Bolt's phenomenal , but Daly Thompson was the man for me - brilliant in 9 of the 10 disciplines (he was crap at the 1500!) - now that's an athlete !!

To be honest i'm impressed with anyone who is good at any sport (proper sports only though, but that's a different matter) as i am terrible at every one i've tried so far.
