It's all a matter of personal taste and what feels right to you. I
personally like SS Sunridges - the Ton Ltd Edition is the best I have
picked up but even their cheap bata like the Supremo and the Premium
feel great

In my opinion the Kookaburra Kahuna (Ponting bat) or the Kookaburra Diablo (Martyn).
In my opinion get a custom made bat, Get what you liek, you choose the blade edge width, length, width, Handle thickness and length, weight, amount of grips protective 'seal' etc.

go with bats that are made for you
|
Posted By: saadadvanced7
Date Posted: 22 January 2006 at 2:16pm
And if that bat happens to be a kookabura or a gray nicholas, go ahead and buy it.
A bat that is made for you doesn't have to be custom made...

Well, that's your preference. I find that a Gray Nicholas is perfect for me...and a kookabura is also quite comfortable.

The best bats to get are custom made ones like bradbury, fusion, laver & wood etc.
However value for money has to be the pakistan brands - my favorites are AS, CA and MB Malik. They ooze quality and are reasonably priced too.

The best bat to buy is the bat that is perfect for you. The bat that you feel was especially made for you...which could be a custom made bat or a bat from a well known company.

I know this huge row escalating about sponsered players (not just Fusion's) trying to just advertise their products...this is just a silly thing to say and also annoys me. I went with a company as the bigger companies were always hard to get and also their bats cracked a fair bit. The company i went with have got great, reliable service and most importantly the people at the company are considerate. I took a gamble with their bat, it paid off tremendously. I told them what I wanted and the risk I took was not seeing the bat or picking it up before I bought it. It was a risk well taken!
I just find it annoying that people see sponsered players as just 'rabbits'. It's not our fault we speak the truth over the quality of their goods and service.

It's not that that is annoying, it's having six or seven of you bombarding the forum which is just annoying, and a waste of everyone's time.

Hes right. We arent paid or anything like that to do this. The post was what is the best bat to buy, and as we have used the bats, we can give an honest opinion

Which is fine.
So long as I don't have to wade through hundreds of posts saying the same thing, I've no problem with it.

If it's a different person each time, then yes. Otherwise it's spamming.

lol, i dont know why, but i found this post quite funny.
I've heard 5 sessions of therapy with a psychiatrist and a sardine and strawberry jam sandwhich does the trick. Damn the youth of today, spamming without mercy.

many people think that just because a bat looks cool or is well known that they are better than less well known brands like laver and wood.this is not the case and remember some intl players dont use the bats out of choice but only because the brands can afford to pay them
|
Posted By: saadadvanced7
Date Posted: 02 February 2006 at 8:47pm
I am not going to say that any brand is the best anymore. I am just going to say the best bat to buy is the one that is perfect for you.
