I think that this spot is still up for grabs, who is better at number 4?

Martyn was a sacrificial lamb for the Ashes defeat. After that series one of the over-30's was always going to get dropped, and Hayden saved himself at the last minute.

Martyn is still a class act and one series with a couple of poor dismissals and a couple down to bad umpiring doesn't change that fact. In my opinion he should not have been dropped, but now that Hodge is in there they have to give him a fair run at it.

No doubt Martyn. He would've been Ponting right now if he wasn't dropped for a decade.

Because he got out with a poor shot when the Aussies were trying to save a match and it took him that long to get his place back
