Sorry about not mentioning that John. It was probably for 'He who makes no mistake, does nothing!'

The next award is for 'Most Helpful Member'. This award goes to the member that is always there when you need to ask something or need some urgent help.

And the winner is...John Pennington. That's a well deserved award as he was formerly the moderator of the CW Forum and now he is in the Admin Group for his huge contributions.

Being unable to get in touch with any of Nikolai Bukharin's descendants, I take it upon myself to guard the award for best quote with due care and attention until the next awards. I'm sure he'd be thrilled to know his words live on in the world of cricket.

My thanks to everyone for voting for me as the most helpful member. I am grateful that my efforts to help everyone are appreciated - I certainly do my best. I'd like to thank Dave and Doctor for giving me the chance to become moderator and then admin as without them, I wouldn't be able to be so helpful.

The 6th award is for 'Most Improved member'. This award goes to the member that has 'developed' the most. Development could be just change in attitude and language or learning more about cricket and improving his/her cricket knowledge.

And your winner isss...well, there was a tie between ANIL KUMBLE, Mebz, and Clobber. So Congratulations to you 3 !!!

That's a strange one. Not quite sure what Clobber is doing there, I think Mebz deserves a special mention as he has been on a final warning for a long time but has done nothing wrong since that time.

Yes, I was going to mention that as well. Mebz has certainly improved a lot.

I was also surprised to see that Clobber got a vote for 'Most Improved Member'.

Let me clear things up. Clobber, ANIL KUMBLE, and Mebz were all tied with one vote each for most improved member.

Congratulations Saad and well hosted.

Second, eh? Well, obviously I'd like to thank Dave and Doctor again, I'd like to thank my Mum, my Dad, my dog, my flatmates, the men and women at Webwiz forums, Saad for hosting the awards, everyone else for turning up and voting, JALRC, no wait, who stole my speech and put that in there, um, did I mention the dog? Yes, ah ok. There are some people waving to me. What's that? Time to get off stage now?

*hauled off stage by some robust award-style bodyguards, rumours are that they are actually the Indian team who had to finish their Test quickly to get here on time.*

Sorry for the tardy response gents , but I've been sobbing like an American Academy Award Winner since I saw my name up in lights !!

It gives me great pleasure....and it always will.....oh! sorry!! To think of all the billions of people on this planet , and I pick up this gold cricket bat and brass ball (short of funds lads??) It'll always have a place in my home , door stops are very useful in a windy city like Cape Town.

My dear departed Mum always said that reading "that rubbish" would bring me notoriety - and she was , as always , spot on. Thanks Mum for your patience and your soft backhander. Thanks too Dad , for my first box - it still fits !! Thanks to my brothers and my golden retrievers for always returning my balls - it's been a great ride!!

Thank you , thank you !!!    right , where's the bar lads??

If anything, I've got worse....
