Kookaburra Kahuna and the beast are top notch. SG has a nice range too, my buddy has Sunny Tonny and its so damn cheap for a 1st grade bat, so light and thick edges. I've used MRF blazer great bat along with MRF Genius, thick edges, very light, alot of meat in the middle but pricey due to its brand name. I think SG gets you value for your money where as MRF and Kookaburra make great bats but pricey. I also read alot of articles where its proved most bats are made in the factories in india, by the same people, except the stickers are put on em. So if thats true, why pay for a brand name. I think JP can comment more on the fact most bats are made in india. |

Hmmmmm a sunny tonny is £114. Not bad if its good but i think i may go
with the SXI's used by collingwood and bell, but after seeing one smash
in half against Pakistan i doubt there quality

How about SS bats ? I like to use lighter bats but they are very hard to find. Are there any 2lb bats ? I see most of them are 2.5lbs to 3lbs heavy.

I hate pakistan bats because all of them that i find in canada are fake ones. They import fake MB and CA bats into canada. I would like to get a hold of Ca Inzi or 2000 if i could.

Yo,
I have a GM maxi 606 and i reckon its a decent bat i hit my highest score last season with it, 26, (please bear in mind i am a bowler not a batsmen). However i think the woodworm torch is great, nice strong bat. |

I took 5-14 in 1 match last season, turned out 2 be the best bowling figures for 1 match in our entire league :D

Ok there. Do you really think that we would buy a bat that we've never even heard of and that isn't even a famous brand? That would be stupid of us.

No they don't. They use bats like Fusion and Bradbury (smaller custom made bats), but are sponsored by big money companies like Kookaburra and Gray Nicolls.
