I got this game a couple of days ago and it is great and I was wondering what you would rate it.

I was also wondering if you have the game, what your highest test score is and your highest individual test score by a batsman and your highest ODI score and highest individual score by a batsman. My highest score is made by me. I made my own player and put him in the Australian test and one day team.

Highest Test Team Total: 10/636
Highest Individual Score: 291
Highest ODI Team Total: 0/309 (10 overs)
Highest Individual ODI Score: 151*

Whats yours?

Shocking? I found it very good. I was terrible at it when I first got the demo then I got good.

@ AK. You can hit a six off every ball if you time it right and don't forget it has the strongest batting then any other cricket game.

I kind of gave up on the game when my bowler bowled, the batsman ticked the ball down to fine leg....and the bowler was the one who went and fielded it!

Its a very good game, what I like about it is the batting, it is very realistic. I usually find that the scores batsman make are quite like the ones that you see today.

This is the only cricket game I actually like bowling rather than batting. The don't leave every ball outside off stump and they get out at about the 30 over mark.

Some batsman are almost impossible to get out like Kallis and Sangakara.

I find Flintoff, Lara and Ponting aren't that good in this game. Ponting is my worst ODI player, Flintoff is a medium pacer and Lara I get out first over with McGrath

If you play at test difficulty the game can be very close and very good fun

My high scores are:

Highest test team totol:4/450+

Highest individual score:My own player 339

Highest odi score: 4/250+ (20 overs)

highest individual score: Gilchirst 120 (20 overs)

Cricket watcher but tennis player :)

Why don't you change the difficulty level from Club to something else? If you do it on Club level, you don't get the trophies in your Trophy Cabinet.

I found that Lara and Flintoff were almost impossible to get out during the World XI Series against the Northen Hemisphere XI. I don't even think I got Lara out, he made 87* from like 168 balls. Flintoff was ****ing me off, he made 109 and then Warne bowled him then I ripped through the tail and Warne got 4 wickets in a row and finished with figures of 7/108.

So yeah. I think the World XI Series is the hardest in State difficulty level. Although, I haven't lost a match against any Elite XI. Australia just keeps winning.

Cricket 2005 has brilliant graphics and life like faces of players, plus it has real players names and features all Australia sates sides, COunty sides, a few domestic sides around the world, international sides (incl. champions trophy and wc sides, likek holland,  usa, etc) and it also has president XI sides and world XI sides and Australia A sides, etc. The batting is very challenging and you can even play all different domestic and intl. comps, incl ashes, wc, county 2020, ING, etc.

The biggest problem with RC Cricket is their isn't any domestic cricket as posted before, therefore little to do

I find that in the World XI Series the players abilities rise up 70%, they play a lot better.

Flintoff isn't a bad bat but Short balls always get Lara playing onto his stumps.

How dare you! I think Brian Lara is much better than Cricket 2005 apart from the graphics which are just hilarious really!

you don't think a bowler running all the way down to fine leg to retrieve the ball suggests a farce of a game?

Me neither, the batting and the bowling actions are also much more advanced than Cricket 2005, I think EA concentrate more on FIFA or their bigger selling games.

i think they need to improve it a little bit for instance I made my guy an allrounder who can bowl medium fast and he was bowling 40 mph. Then I go to pakistan on a world tour and they're all bowling 100 mph. AK they can't have proper names and stats unless they have liscencing once they get liscencing it will be better. Also loved the proper bats

Yeah, the proper bats were awesome and I know what you mean about the Medium Pacers, I was facing one from Pakistan and he bowled one at 102.4mph!

You should be able to find a patch with all the proper bats without too much difficulty

I agree with what CLobs said earlier about the game, to many kinks, faults and glitches in the game.. go with Shane Warne cricket '99 to get your moneys worth .. What a game that was.

Wow, The World XI Test Side is a tough lineup to bowl out. I had them on 4/98 and then the batsman took that score to 6/439. I made 7/469 declared because I thought they wouldn't get over 400+, they're 6/439 from 115 overs and its the Afternoon Session of the Fourth Day, so the test will most likely be a draw. I beat them in the ODI.

I made my own team with all the greats in it and I just got my highest individual test score by a batsman which was 472 by me. We made 5/694 declared. Sobers made 103, Lara made 58. Those were the top 3 scores, 472, 103 and 58.
