Congrats to Sachin on becoming the 1st player to cross the 15,000 run mark. 15,000! thats quite a few runs. Don't know how any batsman is ever going to break that record.

A few years of cricket, yes I agree. What an achievement. The fact that he has been able to play for 18 years and is still playing shows his remarkable strength. Alsoa record of 17 century stand withGanguly shows their strong understanding.

I remember a cricketer that has a few years of cricket still left in him but the selectors caused him to retire.....
 I don't think the Indian selectors are that stupid though to make such a great player retire when it's not his time. It's not easy to say good bye to players like Sachin.  |

but i think it is very possible for someone to achive that total there maybe and absolutley outstanding player who plays for a career slighly longer than sachins.... i dont know how but i recon one day it will be broken. |

Anyways, Sachin is playing cricket for 17 years. Hardly much modern player who has done that and still has about 3 years left in them. With the amount of games playing though, someone might get there but he has to be as special as the little master to do it! It will be a real hard task for someone to break that.
