ok guys its obvious i was wrong cause i don't think
i spin every ball ball more than the gatting ball.
And if the gatting ball was about 45 degrees i guess
i guess i spin it around 25-30 degrees each ball.
I thought the gatting ball was around 80 to 85 degrees
so i guess i don't really know my concepts cleary.
Sorry about that. And by the way pietersen fan i never
said that i was superb at cricket, all i said was that
i could turn it. And if your better than me well that good for you.
What goes around comes around!

I never did claim to be amazing! Find the post where I said that and I will bow down to you as master. And you're dead right, I am not that brilliant! Atleast I have the guts to say it!

The grip is that you should hold the ball like a fast bowler but with the thumb resting on the side of the ball. Always remmeber that the slider should have back spin which automatically comes when you release it out of the front of the hands. The other ball pushed out of the front of the hands is called a skidder but with a leg break grip. The Flipper is the clicking of the fingers so the ball spins backwards. I am an expert with these cause I bowl them all. I live in the West Indies.

hmmmm let me think, im an expert, i bowl them all, EXPERT, id say your saying your quite amazing

No lad, mis understanding!

I am an expert with these meaning "knowing how to bowl them!" Why do you think I posted "cause I bowl them all." If I meant a meastro bowler, I would have just said, "I'm an expert leg spinner."

Knowing how to bowl deliveries and bowling them is 2 different thing. The former I am good at and the latter, not great!

Shows your lack of knowledge in understanding posts! If you looked at the post I made, it was all about telling a lad how to bowl a delivery.

Trials start in April and the tournament is in June or July. I go trials, if I play well, I get pick! Simple as that. The good thing is, there is a guy who is on the board who first saw me and got me to train and he and I are real close so that's a plus.

Because sometmes you forget specific details and write what you know you mean. Unfrtunately it can be misinterpreted by others. Either that or you are trying to sound good. I am guilty of both as is everyone else. Good luck with the trials Spin Wiz, I played in the Gillette Cup U/19 here in Australia. We made it through the the semi's of our state try outs but failed dismally once the comp started hottin up.

Judge the player not by their stats, but by their opposition.

I might need the good luck Bobbi cause I haven't practiced for a month odd now and the trails might be next week or the week after. The lads won last year while I was home as a reserve!

Anyways guys, St. Vincent is a country located in the Windies just like Jamaica or Guyana etc. You have to play for your country before you can represent the Windies. That's why people from overseas can't play in the Windies domestic league!!

The only method of getting the ball to drift is by applying a lot of spin to it. You can't technically teach how to get 'drift,' it only happens for the above reason. Big%20smile

Also with the shine to the leg side that would make it drift back into left handers and you have to have a perfect seam position and give the ball more air as well.

Yes, without accuracy, spin is useless, as I have found out the hard way!
