Bradman never scored a 1000 in a year! That's unbelievable, but its probably because they didn't play as many matches in one year as we do now or Bradman would probably score 2000 runs.

Actually, he wasn't comparing them, he was just saying that he liked Dravid more than Bradman.

Oh and Bradmans a complete legend, as you can see from my picture I think he's brilliant and I have no doubt if he was batting now he'd score 2000 in a calender year.

I think you forgot to add Dravid in the Tests section for most runs. Especially 2003 or 2004 and 1999.He has had the most runs in a year 2 or 3 times. And slogger72N/0 I didn't know that was Bradman's pic. I have a pic of him and its completly different.

If your stats above are correct then Dravid is just an unlucky man. He made 1761 runs in a year and still couldn't be the highest run scorer that year dispite getting all the awards including the Wisden.

Kallis's name should have been there, when he was on a form of a life time in 2003 prior the WC and in 2004 when he almost equalled the record of 6 consecutive centuaries in Test match.

Why should it be on there we he didn't get the most test runs in a year.

This is good stuff Kumble, there is many stats here that I didn't know before. Tendulkar came very close to 1900 runs in 1998 with 9 centuries, this is something very new to me.
