Hi guys,

I have a bit of a problem when bowling which is now getting worse,

I am a midweek and sunday league, medium pacer my accurracy is usally quite good although i do lack overall pace.

Anyway the problem is that a few balls per over seem to slip out of my hand and loop into the air (similar to a flighted spin bowl) very slowly. I cant pinpoint this to anything in my action and neither can my skipper. Like i say it seems to be getting worse,

any experiences or advice would be welcomed.

Has to do with your grip and release point. You are gripping the ball a bit too tight or releasing it before your arm crosses your shoulders.

Hmmmm, this is a wierd one.  I know it's not easy to control accuracy but it's not so in regards to controlling your pace - you mentioned slow loop as opposed to your normal medium pace.  Concentrate on the feel of the ball out of your hands.
In troubled times, being philosophical helps a great deal, it helps you to remain sane and not do any further damage.

Yerp, Zuhair is right. If you are releasing the ball to early then it will loop out of your hand and be quite full. But it also has to do with the strength of your release, if the ball pretty much bobbles out of your hand then it shows your wrist and hand are not controlling the ball at the point of release.

Ideal cricketer: Bowl like Warne, bat like Tendulkar, field like Jonty!!
