Moongoat, Who did Fried Callamari play for?
I bet he was all at sea against the spinners. They say he was troubled by a good line and a weighted delivery,
No doubt he ran rings around them in the end though,he said the bowling was crummy, but it came in waves and he fell for it hook line and sinker, hahaha what a corny joke teller i am,,,,,,good question, this will have us all thinking for a while,Dont post the answer as it is these ones that are the best ones to try and get.If no answer its not because noone is reading or trying its cause we cant yet find the answer hahaha,

OK, it was during a South African domestic match at Paarl, in February 1995.
Daryll Cullinan hit a six into a frying pan full of calamari. It was about ten minutes before the ball was cool enough to remove the grease. Even then, the bowler was unable to grip the ball, and it was replaced.
I don't know who finally ate the ball.

Right, here's a picture of a famous confrontation:

Who are the people involved, and where and when did the incident take place?

Off the top of my head, that's Mike Gatting and Shakoor Rana, 1987 - the location is....Faisalabad?

i was going to write that but you got it before me.
i've read about this incident in a book and i knew who the 2 guys were but i didn't remember the location so i was going to read the book and find the location.
-JP-, it seems you're not sure of the location but i checked in my book and you're right, it is faisalabad.
so your answer is correct.

I have one if anyone dosnt mind please..
In test cricket dismissals what order do you think would be the most to the least for each form of dismissals,
example would be first caught, then stumped ,then bowled, then, lbw etc a hint is there is 11 forms of dismissals in the list,
They differ in caught by fielders, caught by keeper, caught and bowled, take some thinking but anyway thats the question
i will give you the start you gotta give me the 10 below the first one....
No 1........20,891 caught by fielders.
no 2 .......
no 3......
etc, Good Luck

Not sure that's a good question Hammer . Surely no-one has that information in their noggins - it's just a question of browsing through the literature.
To me , a good question is one that gets the ole brain working and until this last one all your others have been great!
I'm sure someone will get you your answer though - but it won't be me mate , I have to work!!

so we have to list the type of dismissals in order from highest to lowest based on how many times that dismissal has taken place in history. is that what your question is asking?

Yes Saad,i didnt want the amount of dismissals just what you think the order would be,
first was caught fielders,
second was bowled,
3rd was caught by wicket-keepers,
Etc, Sledger is more than likely right,it is a very tough one and hard to find,i will post the answer and give my opologies to evry one who read it and didnt undestand it.
Here is the original question and answer,
from Charles McCowie, Australia
Are there any aggregate stats showing the modes of dismissal across all Test matches ever played, i.e., the number of bowleds, lbws, caught, run out, etc?
After the 1762nd (Trent Bridge) Test the totals were: 12,016 bowled, 20,891 caught by fielders, 8700 caught by wicket-keepers, 1556 caught and bowled, 147 hit wicket, 7415 lbw, 1948 run out, 1133 stumped, seven handled the ball, one obstruction of the field, and two retired out. There have been 7978 not outs and 99 retired hurts..............
Ok hope this is more gettable and ,sorry again Matt,
Who is the only bowler to have had both Tendulkar and Dravid stumped in Test cricket?

Well done John,I have to find something about mid ground as some are 2 hard and some 2 easy, although i did think that one would have been a bit more difficult.
Is it you JP that likes /Loves Tendulkar?
If so,no wonder you got that one.
Anyway your post JP. Give us one that will give a headache or two trying to get it,hahaha, the problem is though every question like everything in life is easy if you know how or know the answerhuh,Your go mate well done,,,

Sorry I didn't post a question; I didn't really have time to think of one - I don't love Tendulkar as such, I mean I respect him as a great batsman but I knew that the only guy to have got him out stumped was Giles so he must have been the answer.

| aussie, and he only admitted to the fact after they had departed. that he'd never kept wicket before, not that he was an aussie! |
