Wow a hattrick that must have been the greatest feeling ever or was it a century.

I think a century would be the best feeling ever. As a 16 year old, I've made 3 centuries. My best being 108*.
"His classical hits down the ground, met with a checked drive, were Tendulkar at his best. It was though he had a new lease of life." - Sachin Tendulkar's return to cricket with a 91-Ball century.

A hat-trick is without a doubt more important in the context of the game then a century depending on the situation.

youve just completely contradicted yourself there AK it all depends on the games situation. you cannot say which is better.

Top score 71, best bowling 3 for 8. I am a wicket keeper.

Can we also post most catches/stumpings. If so, 5 stumpings within the space of 4 overs.

Minor counties suck and then you play for one

hey,

was on vacation, didn't come on for some time!

neway,

honestly,

batting:  My highest score in a 40 over match, was 177! I love opening the innings and taking advantage of the fielding restrictions, which are on only for the first ten overs, dunno y, but its the rule of our tournament! The slog overs r da best. In one match I managed to score 30 runs off one over. 4 sixes a single 4 and then two runs! I was declared man of the tournament in two consecutive years!

bowling: 5/1/14/3 I'm considered a batting allrounder but get to bowl in the 10th over! The ball is still new and I can manage to swing and seam the ball most of the times!

I took up cricket 10 months ago...have played 3 matches and have totals of 5, 0, 1

Horrendous underachieves ^

5 = Top edge (mens team)
0 = clean bowled - batting bumber 9 (mens team)
1 = slapped a full toss straight to mid off

You'll improve, you just have to stick with cricket, got my second 50 today 60 not out, if I'd chosen to bat first I probably would've got 100.

the good thing about batting number 1 is that the first ball of the innings is usually rubbish so you get score a run or two of it

My only experience of a first baller was a yorker at a very fast pace which i just dug out. Suppose it's put me off for life!

I am a rght arm leg spinner and No 11 batsman
and had played few Division 2 matches in Sri Lanka

3 day matches:
I was the night watchman. Scored 47* about 240 balls, batted for nearly 7 hours against fast bowlers who have gone wild on a matting wicket hard as a granite. Number of bruises were more than the score. I had only one big hit, swept a right arm medium bowler for a six that landed out of the ground when I got a rush of blood. Team total was 213

Best bowling: 17-11-18-6 never conceded a boundry on this raging turner

40-over matches:
Scored 17* off 6 balls with 4 fours
Best bowling: 7-0-46-6 and 8-4-13-4. I don't know which one is better

The best ball: I got Kumar Sangakkara stumped by a floater and Saman Jayantha bowled through the legs bbowlling right arm round - These were inter-faculty matches of UOC, but these were the best I have ever bowled.

I love wides outside off stump during the first five overs.

Last season, I was opening the batting at number 1 and I had to face the first over, I got 2 runs off the 2nd ball and on the third ball he tried to bounce me and it was wide of off and I cut it for six. He never tried that again.

You should've seen the look on his face, he was as angry as you could get.

It's not the cutting thats the problem if it's down leg, but I can cut fine, it's one of my better shots.
