Thanks. It means alot. My 113 was a fluke. I'm normally quite a bad batsman. I'm on the verge of loseing my allrounder status.

Now...I can't get to play in Italy... I am more a watcher.... I only played four matches in my life... 50 overs... although I made quite an impression getting 1 for 9 off twoovers my first time bowling got a run owt and an oue outstanding catch off an hook out on the squareleg boundary... wich is still considered the best ever taken on that ground (I am a goalkeeper) My batting.... er..... 0(1) 0(6) 0(1) 0*(2)

By the way... please don't laugh... I love cricket... but my problem is... I'm ITALIAN.... All the four times I batted down the order (obiouvsly) and I didn't know how to play spin... Got out always to the first ball to a spinner.. always bowled and once stumped in the last over of the match tryng to slog it...

I was a good bowler when I was in Dubai. Then I started to burn out. Now I've come to Canada and have started again and I hope I can become consistent now.

Best batting when i made my debut for the senior side as a 15 year old i scored 157* in a 50 over game batting at 3. I still havent beaten that score since i made it in 1997, ive come close but never beat it!

Best bowling: 6 for 9 in 8 overs bowling off spin, about a couple of weeks ago, playing in a sunday league match.

Inzy , you sound like a fantastic player. I notice you mention it a good bit of times.

My best allthough I've given it allready is 103 batting and 7.0.31.6.

There was also one time when I had 8 matches under me belt and had a top score of 3. I was real pathetic back then. Chris Martin even had better figures than me . Shows how bad I was.

Bat different around the order all the time. Basically im a pathetic batsmen but can get some quick runs fast. As for bowling I bowl Right-arm fast-medium. I'm the opening bowler for my team. And don't have a lot of pace but line & length and a good ability to swing the ball.

Only joking. Though I was making a point. It sounds like everyone in here is some wonder kid. Makes me wonder if everyone is telling the truth, there are some spectacular scores in here that almost defy belief......

All depeneds on the standard of cricket played. I have faced Marlon Black ( 5 years ago i think) who played for windies, Tuafeeq,Yasir Hameed and Arafat, Kabir ali, so my standard of cricket is not too bad.

Why aren't you playing for a county then if you've made scores like the ones you've mentioned, that's what I'm trying to say. I won't mention any names but there's a coupleof people who seem to be too good.

Fair point 70-degree i was very good up until 18 and after that my studies took priority. My intesrest in playing professional cricket was killed by the policy of Warwickshire county at that time. I was nominated by my school every year for a trial based on wickts and runs scored for school games, but like many other guys who went for trials the coaches would turn a blind eye on certain kids, not even watching them bat, we quickly realised that the players were picked before the trials we were there just as a PR exercise. Its not just asian players who were neglected but white kids who were good but from a working class background. There was an asian guy playing for the u19 team, he was very poor but his dad was wealthy.

Beacuse of this i gave up any hope and just played cricket for fun and concentrated on a better career which i love very much. Just beacuse you dnt play county cricket does not mean you not good enough. Many kids in england are talented but its about being given a chance.

As for my bowling figures 6 for 9, they were in a sunday league game which i play for  a mates team just to have a laugh with mates, the standard is ridculous, me getting wicktes says a lot as i cannot bowl to save my life.

Fair point Inzy, I had that when I played U15 cricket. My captain was black, all his friends were black. This was before I started spinning but I was still an accurate medium pacer, but I was never picked to bowl. He just made his friends bowl. He put me down at number 6 despite me in the previous game top scoring for my team. I was also quite a defensive batsman meaning I was usually rubbish at number 6. Cricket is so corrupt sometimes! It's like just because your black, you must be good at cricket. Don't know if anyone else has had an experience like this? I got over it though when my coach saw potential in my batting and I was moved up to the adult second XI where I'm still to make my debut because I was noticed in September. Gutted!

Goodluck. I know that in cricket its not how good you are its who you know most of the times. Its a shame really because alot of talented youngsters who are from poor backgrounds do not get a break.

Yeah ! Its real disgraceful but have a look at my signature.

Anyways , I am from an Island and people from it are hardly recongnised. Now the country I come , its real hard to make it too the windies side. Cuffy , Mclean , butler and W. Davis are some from my country.

Now there is a guy who was from St. Vincent and the guy desribe by many as the best fast bowler in the west indies who did not play for west indies. The guy said he bowled worrell for a duck and he was told by wes hall that he was better than him (hall). Now he played the trial match to know who would get pick to represent west indies and he said that sobers also make sure that hall (they are from barbados) would get ahead of him. He said sobers went after his bowling and he also said sobers stated that in his book as well.

He now said that , players from smaller islands have to do twice the work of a good player to get in the side.
