Right, here then are some questions:

1. How many ODIs have ended in a tie?

2. True or false. Australia once lost 7 Test matches in a row against England?

3. Who top scored in Victoria's famous 1107 against New South Wales in 1926?

4. Who was the first victim of Anil Kumble in Test cricket?

5. Which Kenyan bowler returned figures of 5-24 in 10 overs against Sri Lanka in the 2003 World Cup?

6. If every batsman in an innings got out first ball, what should be the number of the batsman who remains not out?

7. Which two English bowlers have taken a wicket with their first ball in ODIs?

8. Name the player: Test debut in 1990, First class average of 45.19, his ODI top score is 6 runs higher than his Test best. Who is he?

9. Against whom did Jacques Rudolph make his Test debut?

10. How many Tests did Sri Lanka play before winning one?

Deadline: 1600 GMT, Monday 22nd January 2006 (you've got four days)

Oh well, I suppose JP can always start again!

Anil, You're supposed to PM the answers to JP, not post them where everyone can see!

I've deleted Anil's post, I'm not sure he gave all that much away, actually so I don't feel like starting again.

Clobber, it's entirely up to you. I don't personally use any research tools, which is why I usually end up with about 3 or 4 out of 10 but it's a personal thing. I like the challenge of doing without. That said, I'd be seriously impressed if you got some of those right without any research. I guess I'm just evil!

I actually get a major buzz doing all the research, sifting all the facts.  It's just the way my brain works, I think.

Following a query from Merv, I either misread or otherwise made a mistake with the answers; there have, of course, been 21 tied ODIs, so well done Merv, you get 10/10.

Great job swerveman!

OK, I've found enough time to dig out some questions.  Let's see who else can get 100%

  1. Who averaged 270 in Tests versus India in 2000
  1. Who made an unbeaten ODI century against Pakistan in 1994, then did the same thing the following year?
  1. Who has played 73 ODIs for Australia without a fifty, and made the first century in the Twenty20 Cup?
  1. Who boasts a highest Test score of 101*, and took ten wickets in a Test against India in 1998/9?
  1. Who averages 35 (and a bit) in both Tests and ODIs for South Africa, and retired after fracturing a finger in the 2003 World Cup?
  1. Who played in 54 ODIs for Australia, averaging 26.89, but only one Test?
  1. Who averages 56.48 in Tests for India, and 44.01 in ODIs, and was struck on the head in his Test debut in Pakistan?
  1. Who scored 16 and 3 in his Test debut for Sri Lanka against England, and finally retired from Tests with an average of 42.97, including 20 centuries and 22 fifties?
  1. Who has taken 491 Test wickets and 329 ODI wickets for India?
  1. What is the literary link between the nine players above?

Deadline is 20:00 GMT on Tuesday, 31st January.
