I just want to see what sorts of statistics impress people. They go on about Tendulkar for his 35 hundreds or Warne for his 600 wickets, but here are 5 people whose statistics are often ignored by the masses.
JH Kallis is the only player in history to have 8000 runs, 200 wickets and 100 catches in BOTH forms of the game. Only Sobers (tests) and Jayasuriya (one dayers) have achieved half that feat.

I have to say Kallis because his stats are just so outstanding.

where's Warne...he would have probably beaten them all! If he was included i recon he would lead all the way.

Kallis' stats are misleading considering he bats to massage his average with not outs and only wants to bowl against the likes of Bangladesh and Zimbabwe for a few cheap wickets.

Welcome back Bokkie , nice poll too mate! I've gone with Shaun Pollock - he's been a stalwart for SA since 1995 and never let the side down , he's just a great cricketer!

McGrath is fantastic too , but at the height of their powers I'd go with Shaun because of his batting and leadership qualities.

I am sure that by the end of his career, Kallis will probably average 60+ in Tests because he's always trying to imrpove his average. That selfish idiot.

Pollock almost always saves SA whenever the top order fails. He is a fine batsman under pressure.
