Denesh Ramdin had a very promising series for the WI against australia this summer..... Van Der Wath showed too that he has ability with both the bat and ball for SA

Add 1 Moises Henriques to the list as well.. he looks a very promising allrounder for Australia in the future... had some outstanding performances in the U/19 world cup

For the cricketing talent and maturity shown, I would rate Liam Plumket, ASif and AB deviliers on top, these are the guys to watch in the future!

More silliness - AB de Villiers is a certainty for SA's world cup XI. That he didn't sparkle when he 1st played ODI's doesn't detract from his obvious talent. Not only can he score quickly , he's a fine keeper and a terrific fielder.

That looks like a one day cricketer of some skill.

Actually he started as a test material and used as such by SA, but he has transformed into very aggressive batsman during the pro 20 series in SA and few of his innings were spell binding, now they have a young and confident batsman for both forms of game, and he is a good enough keeper too. On the same note the inclusion of jacqueus into ausie side would give us a nearview of his skills and temprament too!

I really  think Chamara kapugedara from Sri lanka is the fist & best. He is just 19 & if  you look at he is playing VB series matches against Ausi & S.A (Hitting very big Sixers against Brett Lee at very pressure stages of the game)then you will always agree with me.HE IS A REAL TALENT.

Well from here in Australia look out for: -

  1. Moises Henriques (RFM, RH) <--HUge Prospect
  2. Dan Cullen (RO) <--HUge Prospect
  3. Cameron White (LBG, RH)
  4. Phil Jaques (LH)
  5. Callam Feurgeson (RH)
  6. Cullen Bailey (LBG)
  7. Mitchell Johnson (LF)
  8. Shaun Tait (RF) <--Huge Prospect
  9. Beau Casson (SLC)
  10. Mark Cosgrove (LH, RM) <--Huge prosepect
  11. Aaron Bird (RF) [Reminds me of Simon Jones, with his sharp pace and swing, very front on action, once hit Michael Slater in the head woth a bounce in club cricket]

Aust has a few problems with pacers, but there arm many good spinners.

Hey mini,

good to see some young names from Australia.

But this is the first time I am seeing you put so many young names from Aust,I think the last match btn SA and Australia has made you look out for Youngsters.

yes some forum member do that ,when senior team does not perform they go to U-19 .

Don't worry mini, Aussies are good enough but the gap has closed,as of today aussies can't say they are number one, lost ashes, close shave in Chappel hadlee series with NZ [when aussies couldn't defend 300+ score ],and now the RSA debacle. Its too much ,writing is on the wall.Aussie supremacy is gone.Else bring back McGrath and Warnie in ODI's(dont't know if that would help)

Has anyone seen the new Wasim Akram in the Pakistan U-19 side...also known as Jamshed Ahmed. This guy looks like Akram, bowls like Akram, and hopefully will be like Akram when (not if) he plays for Pakistan! Anwar Ali is also amazing. He should be in the international side right now...but ofcourse as everyone is aware, Pakistan has too much talent and there isn't a spot for the poor guy! I'm just trying to get on people's nerves! Anyway, seriously, I think Anwar Ali should be in the International team right now. He can swing the ball like a meter and a half at 85 mph!

I'd say Wan der Wath. The only problem with him is that he can't play spin. When he faces spin, he gets out on the 1st ball. If he practices playing spin he would be so good. And he does bowl pretty well.
