Wait until I decide whether there'll be another season, there'll certainly be places available should I do so.
Places dependant on ability to avoid typing in text talk, of course. ![]() |

Thanks for the comments guys, they're making me think that if I could I'd like to carry on with it. We'll just see what happens to me in the next few months. If it's possible, all well and good, if it's not, then too bad.
I promised stats, didn't I? I'd hate for you to think I was like Blair or Chirac when it comes to keeping promises so:
Again, the numbers of games won't add up perfectly, as every now and then I make a mistake with team/ground/condition selection but not quite before the players make it out onto the pitch. Overall stats:

Thanks JP, I really enjoyed these games. I think that if you have the time later carry on with the sim, as it gives us something to do instead of moaning about the real national managers.

Yeah thanks I honestly think this sim is by far the best (no offence meant) and I would really love for you to carry it on but obviously your life and exams and the like come before a sim on a cricket forum.

So, possibly the last ever games in this sim have been run:
FINAL TABLE: South Africa 253 Sri Lanka 219 India 188 Australia 172 England 120 New Zealand 118 West Indies 78 Bangladesh 46 Well done to the the bird, who managed to retain his title. Also, well done to Warnester, getting Sri Lanka to come second, and pretty comfortably too is a good effort. ANIL KUMBLE warrants a mention for winning the second division and then winning games with Bangladesh, but even he couldn't prevent them finishing last. As it was, New Zealand very nearly caught up with England at the last, but it wasn't to be. Thanks go to w3lshrugby, minimurali, ramzi, crownmethod, black_cap_95, Titan, nottsjoe, Clobber and moongoat for having played this second season. I don't know where we go from here; certainly I have my final exams so I won't be running a third season for some time, if at all. If we do end up doing another season, Pakistan will replace Bangladesh in the First Division, and there'll be a play-off between West Indies and Australia 'A' to decide who plays in the First Division. I'd like to know what you guys think - if there is genuine demand for this to carry on, I'll make the effort, whether I'm in France/Belgium/wherever next year, but if no-one is interested I'm not going to do it for the sake of it. I'll post some stats later on for you all to peruse. |

A decidedly irritable Sledger has named the same side for the 3rd and final test against India at the Oval.
"How can you take this exercise seriously when Australia lose their first NINE wickets to SA , all LBW!!!! In all NINETEEN wickets fell in that match to LBW decisions , it's totally ludicrous!" said the England boss. The pitch condition at The OVAL is POOR again , as the groundsman doesn't give a rat's @rse!! |

The Bird announced a very different team for the third test at centurion. He stated that seen that South Africa has already won the league for the second time he would be resting some senior players. He also said that N. Pothas would captain the team and that AB. de Villiers would take over the keeping role for this test. The Pitch condition for Centurion is EXCELLENT.
1. S. Cook 2. AB. de Villiers (w/k) 3. H. Gibbs 4. N. Pothas (c) 5. A. Prince 6. J. Kemp 7. A. Hall 8. A. Morkel 9. C. Henderson 10. D. Terbrugge 11. D. Steyn |

Sorry about that, I didn't know that you can't play at the same venue twice in a series. Right, so the third test will be played at McLean Park. Edited by crownmethod |

I'll let him off, as a few managers don't even bother naming any venues at all anymore, so at least he's making some effort.

Is Mushfiqur Rahim a reserve wicket keeper,I judt thought you spelled it wrong I thought it was suppose to be Mushfiqur Rahman, the unthinkable was to play a team with 11 batsman, but Mashud and Nafees where injured so yeh only 1 bowler and 1 all rounder,so close.ill edit it soon

I see, the unthinkable was leaving out your reserve wicket-keeper, Mushfiqur Rahim and giving Nafis Iqbal the gloves.
