Time for Afridi to retire

Temporary ban for pakistani_pride, for a start. And it'll be at least two weeks as I've already warned him twice and he's still being abusive and using bad language.

This thread will also be closed. Not much I can do about the descent to abuse in nearly every thread remotely concerned with Asian teams. I suppose by banning the worst offenders, hopefully the problem will be solved, but I have to apply the rules consistently.

will you guys just give it a break... this forum is here for cricket fans to discuss cricket, it's players, umpires, grounds, records etc. and i dunno about the rest of you, but i find it quite tiresome somedays when i come in and find every thread has turned into a pak vs. ind debate after about the 10th post even if the topic has nothing to do with either country or either countries players... 

while i understand that there are a lot of Indian and Pakistani supporters on this forum, and pakistan vs indian cricket is a very passionate issue for both lots of fans, this doesn't mean you need to go to the extremes of ridiculousness and childish posts/arguments to show that ur side is better than the other as you have shown in this thread... all i'm asking is please don't post unless you have something constructive to say.....

anyway, on the topic of Afridi retiring......

I see no reason for shahid to retire.... if he is performing well, and he is in test matches, why would he retire?????? thats like saying that ricky ponting should retire right now, or jaques kallis, because despite the fact that they are in great form, Aust. and SA need to bloond younger players....

as for the pakistan selectors dropping him, i can't see that happening.... he is definetly unpredictable, but he is also a match winner... i can see reason for dropping him if there was an outstanding young cricketer who has been waiting in the wings for a while, and afridi has had a string of horrible performances.... but as i said, he's a matchwinner, and until he loses that ability, i can't see him retiring, or being dropped....

we'll see how dhoni performs against england?

cant wait to see his avge drop down down and him go out of the top 10 rankings after this series. lol

no ones here coz they don wanna waste their precious time with an indian, who is soooo pro-indian. I was just discussing this thread with my colleage in tea break ,,,when I told average of afridi's 23 against 68 average of Dhoni against the respective team head on's.

Isen't it amazing that what Afridi does to Indian bowling in 3 matches ,,,, Dhoni does in just ONE INNINGS.

Tell me if I have to moderate myself a little bit ,,if that humilates much
