Bond was very bad against Sri Lanka. I wonder what was wrong with him.

Its life DF! All the great bowlers in the world has had bad days and even the greatest batsman of all time by a mile has had bad days too!

No surprise that Bond didn't fire , he hasn't played any cricket in ages!

After a lengthy layoff , it's highly unlikely that any quick bowler will come storming back , especially in these conditions. I'm sure Bond bowled within himself too , what with his injury hit history.

I don't think his shoulder was shining perfect. Must have been only 99% perfect. Not enough to won a game for his team.

I heard that Bishop said that when a pacer has just come back from injury, it takes a good while to get back in the grove. He said he say it from Ambrose.

Its the same story with Bond and McGrath too.

The Icc Trophy won't be good for bond stat wises, ages off, injury scare, super hot and humid and not the greatest pitches for pace bowling. I Feel the blackcaps will hope he is just tidy and doesn't get injuried, If New Vs Australia in the final however, He Will win the game for the kiwi's

he was bowling around the low 140's during the Pak match, but brett lee hasn't been bowling much faster, so i dought he i going full pace.

Now i heard he has done a hammy, haven't heard much more than that, so i guess that it isn't too bad.

A true trajedy to see such a potential champion of the game ontinually struck down.

Judge the player not by their stats, but by their opposition.

Bond is a genuinely exciting cricketer and I hope he stays fit for the 2 tests his really has been a stop/start career - very unfortunate.

It is also a shame he was a cop and not a playing as a fast bowler in the late nineties for NZ... NZ finally get a really world class cricketer and he is stuffed around with injuries.
