well, that could be said for many players who have a good average... and nobody has questioned Bradman's achievement here.
He is a great player and will always remain so.

exactly! if you get out once in 20 inns and score 100 runs than Bradman would have his record lost.

He's suggesting that Bradman's average isn't unbalanced by a huge percentage of not outs.

well the Dutch ended their tornament on a high note. As for Bradman...he seems to be capable of doing anything!
South Africa & Pakistan...the "Gang Green Gang"!

That's the thing about the Dutch, you joke away that they are tinkering around the edges of your sport, take your eye off them and before you know it they start dominating it.

I just read an article on cricinfo about Bradman, it mentioned a second class match he played where he got a hundered in 3 eight ball overs with the guy at the other end getting 2 singles. This is the most amazing thing I've ever heard about in cricket, the man was a genius. Remember that the lowest number of balls possible is 17 balls, 22 balls is astonishing. Has there ever been a more dominating figure in a sport?
Phil Taylor (Google him)

Well he's pretty big, apparently he's gonna try and lose weight because it'll help him throw the darts better, like to see that happening

he did but he found it affected his throwing so he piled it all back on again :)

It seemed so to me, perhaps not abusive - but repeatedly taking the p*ss is surely not desirable?

W.G - his reply wasn't abusive - this thread was rather abused by fishcake so I ended up deleting more posts than I meant to.
