Against an offie, just backing away and exposing the stumps while the whistling blade caresses the ball away.

Judge the player not by their stats, but by their opposition.

i love the cover drive, it's just when the ball hits right on the meaty spot of the bat and you feel that it's definetly four all the way i just love it when that happens. but for some reason i used to be perfect at playing leg glances but once a fast bowler hit me straight in the leg and i was wearing no pads ever since then i always end up gettin muddled up with that shot so i just now run down the ground and smash a lofted drive doesnt always work thoe

Scratch the Square Cut. The Leg Glance is my favourite shot there starting to fly down past fine leg for 4.

Square drive against an off spinner or flick through mid-wicket against a leg spiiner feels great, because it de-moralises the bowler if you execute it to the perfection

I generally attack the spinners unless I cannot afford to get out at any costs, my favourite strokes off the spinner would be a slog sweep or i just run down the wicket and smash it back over the bowler's head. |

To me its a toss up between the forward defence and (slog) sweep. I just keep defending rubbish balls and spinner thinks he can keep me tied down then along comes a super rubbish delivery and Bam! (slog) sweep

it is a bit odd and I wasn't having a go, I only read it after my post, but I like playing spinners anyway, it's always a challenge (unless they're rubbish)

the topic of the thread is called your favourite batting stroke but the poll title says favourite shot against spinners. Sorry I guess i should have read all of it. You cant exactly do a hook shot to a spinner but you can pull them if they bowl short. |

A cover drive is always good. As if you get it right, you're mostly playing against the spin. So it feels good. :)
