I think it would have been Ricky Ponting, though he was chosen as the ICC player of the year but he came so near to the record of highest test runs in a calender year. Though he may prove me wrong as he might have two possible innings to achieve the target!
so far so good!

If you pay abit more attention Irfan Pathan has actually has a successful year apart from his last couple of months he did take a hat-trick in the opening over of the match in the 3rd test against Pakistan and has 35 ODI wickets at 25 this calender year not to mention his form with the bat has been a success.

The reason why India have failed alot in the past few months cause several individuals have let the down Sehwag,Pathan,H.Singh,V.Singh,Jaffer,Agarkar and a few others.

Tendulkar has been poor for them as well and Dravid good, but not great like usual.

Because Vaughany's just come back from injury.
County Sim on extended break until I've got less work and more free time. When I have a specific date, I'll post it in the thread.

You should have never kept a poll unless you want us to choose from those players. Then I would go for none of them. Sehwag and Pathan could have never done better and should be disappointed about their performance in the last two years. Overall, I think it has got to be Dravid. He could have done much much better.
