Ok i am a right handed batsman and a left handed  fastmedium bowler i am 14 but i need help setting the right field.

becasue usually i get hit for runs quite alot which makes me think i have to change my line and length and then i get hit for runs again and i need to know what field i should set to stop the run flow.

i know there is another thread like this but i thought u might now have difrent views on it any help would be apreciated and also can some one tell me like what fielding poistions to have not just explain them e.g. Mid Wicket and a short fine leg

You need to decide were you are gunna bowl and stick at the spot for 5 ball an over personally i change it to every pbatsman but the miost universal way i find to stop runs is keepn them a normal lenth about a foot down off or two thatll get you some catchs if you set a field setting mainly on off with a couple of fielders on the boundry on leg; a3 on the off boundry and the abvious fielders like cover. then once an over do the same ball but flick your wrist its bounce some evtra and hopefully get a mi*****. Useuallly the batsman will move down off and slog to put you off dont be fassed if you can either bowl a full striat ball or everyone will be impressed if you bowl a full inswinger round his leggs on to leg stump.
