Using the same criteria as we do for the international MVPs, which means you have to play ten games to qualify, the MVP ratings are as follows:

35+ over matches:

W.G 66.9
Chief 65.9
Slogger 28.6
Clobber 26.1
fishcake 21.0

For the rest of you, click here and download a pdf

20 over trundles:

Matches:                    30
Innings:                     30
Not out:                     19
Highest score:           123* (25 mandatory retirement score most games)
Total:                         951

Average:                    86.45

Catches:                     51
Run outs:                    6

35+ overs:

Matches:                    23
Innings:                      23
Not out:                      10
Highest score:           189* #
Total:                         1774

Average:                    136.46

Catches:                     38
Run outs:                    4

# ..... of 120 balls at 157.5 > 5th century of the season, ran out of partners so that double goes missing for the season yet again

Season over, best one for a good few years - only trouble is the De Quervain's (stenosing tenosynovitis) is giving me some gip, been clear of it for a couple of years and thought it was behind me Cry
When you win the toss - bat.
If you are in doubt, think about it - then bat. If you have very big doubts, consult a colleague - then bat.

they think it's all over....it is now

Someone at our club made the bizarre predication that October was going to be nice so we rearranged a couple of fixtures to make up for the ones lost during the summer.
