hehehe the funny thing is hussey when he played state had a strike rate of 70. funny how things change so quickly. Maybe this shows that australia still have some good bowling prospects if theyve kept hussey's strike down all this time

Trescothick?! Spot the odd one out!! Also no Aussies or South Africans even though they are the only international sides to hot 400? My vote goes to Afridi but a few players missed out from the list methinks.

County Sim on extended break until I've got less work and more free time. When I have a specific date, I'll post it in the thread.

Remember theres also much bigger boundaries, and yer hitting them for six isn't impossible symonds and ponting were hitting murali for six in the last vb match and peiterson was hitting warney for six on much smaller boundaries though

yer they are all ok but theres only 5 really big hitters in there. don't forgot van der wath, razzaq, symonds, flintoff and im sure there are many other more exciting than hershelle gibbs. When dhoni comes to australia im sure that many people wont regard him as high after he has some failures.

It is obviously Afridi. Lets be honest he is the best ODI plsyer in the world. The speed he scores runs is an asset to any team and he is a handy bowler

i think the most exciting batsmen is afridi because you know as an australian that australia are going to win the match so when he bats theres either gonna be a hit out or another cheap wicket

The most exciting batsman are those who can always get their strike rate above 100.

Brian Charles Lara for test match cricket, because of his ability to make bowling attacks pay.
Adam Craig Gilchrist for one day internationals, because of how powerful he is when he strikes that cricket ball. |

Afridi's batting does get very annoying because he only hits one good inning per year! He has been on the International stage for more than about 10 years now and until now, he still doesn't even have a total of 10 centuries. But his best innings are certianly very exciting to watch. Still, I would not rate him as the most exciting anymore!
My next choice for most exciting batsman is Adam Gilchrist or Andrew Symonds. They're both exciting to watch. Symonds is just a pleasure to watch! |

I agree. Sehwag in full flpw is also exciting. Maybe not as exciting as Sfridi but he makes 26 runs an over man.

id rather watch symonds bat plays powerful strokes over cover for six and shots like that really are exiting and he can hit them just as good as afridi, they are both attacking but symonds only puts away bad balls and then puts away any ball at the end of the innings. afridi goes for anything and that explains why his average is (23 so symonds his the most attacking batsmen in my opinion afridi attacking slogger (it isnt a fluke but it takes luck or it has to be his day to make a hundred) |
