Looking at the current MVPs on the website, the leading MVPs will come from the following player pool

 M Muralitharan , B Lee , DPMD Jayawardene , A Symonds ,DL Vettori,
WPUJC Vaas,  RJ Sidebottom, MEK Hussey , JDP Oram , ND McKenzie

But who will be top at the end of 2008 and why?

How come Chanderpaul's name isn't there?

Oh yeah, that Dale Steyn! He's superb with taking wickets at the moment.

Personally I'd choose Lee.
Good one Graham!

Just had a look at the MVP ratings and Steyn went from 4th to 16th in the overall ratings after taking 15 wickets at 20.20 in India Confused

Wierd that! So the ratings are trying to say that he failed in India then? Well, I guess that's why I hardly ever take a look at the ratings.

More that the overall is his bowling and batting - whilst his bowling was good enough to put him 2nd, others have performed since and bumped him down to 4th in the bowling ranks. As his batting is pretty hopeless, he's done pretty well to be in the top 20 overall.
