Watch the top video by damien fleming, part of the video is dedicated to bowling action. It's quite useful.

if his top half is twisting the other way to his feet
for example...if his feel are side on when landing but his chest doesnt turn away from the batsman his action is mixed...or if his feet are front on and his torso is side on it is mixed...this does cause an incredible abount of back pain and will slow his pace down alot!
to fix this make him change his torso to the position of his feet
so if his feet are front on he should have a completeley front on action and vice versa
hope that helps

I have a youngster whose action is unusual and he has complained of back-ache once or twice.
Could he have a mixed action? How do I spot a mixed action? |
