Well, maybe as Sledger said, they should make India vs. Pakistan the Ashes of Asia.

Umar Gul should certainly get a call-up because he was destructive against India before and we can expect him to do something like that again.

yeah if they do it will be his test debut its like making your debut in the ashes but only bigger i think in the third match he should be brought in the odi series he shall be in evry match and umar gul should get a call-up for pakistan last time he played them he destroyed them taking a 5 wicket haul in his fist innings sachin, sehwag, dravid, laxman, patel where he's scalps

Well, that's a great start. Maybe they should bring him in instead of Zaheer.

Well, I don't know who this Rudrap Singh is because since I started liking cricket, I haven't seen him play. I'm going to go check him out on cricinfo.

I think they should bring back Zaheer Khan. He is experienced.

Its being played at Faislabad. Lets hope that this pitch isn't another batting paradise.

Pakistan has a good pace attack. They didn't do so hot in Lahore but that wasn't their fault.

Shoaib, Rana, and Sami are good bowlers but Rana and Sami can be expensive.

I see. India has a good bowling attack but in first test at Lahore (it was at Lahore right?), no bowling attack would've looked good.

England has a fine pace attack. That's because they tamper the ball like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Imran Khan, and Sarfraz Nawaz use to. But now, its called reverse swing, its called an art, its not called ball tampering. Wasim and Waqar were penalized for ball tampering when they used reverse swing, but now English bowlers are given compliments by everyone for mastering this art.

Of course not Saad , that's why the world record holder for a test match happens to be a certain Jim Laker !!

How's 19-90 at Old Trafford against Australia sound?

Not bad for someone without class , don't you think?

Ok, My mistake.

England have produced only a few class spinners.

i also think that england also need a classic spinner like india, pakistan, australia even thought there is giles. i dont think he is a spinner who kind a win s games for his team even though he can take 1 or 2 wickets often

Well, both teams have batted great but I have to hand it to India. They have batted better.

As for Pakistan's pace attack. Shoaib's the spear-head. Rana and Sami can be expensive but are useful too. Rana can be very dangerous at times.

Not really, it says a lot more about the pitch and India's batting than it does about the Pakistani bowling attack.

Well if you said that Pakistan have the best pace bowling attack wel guess again because Dravid And Sehwag are only 11runs short of the current world record for the first wicket stnd which stands at 413.Well that just says a lot about the pakistan attack doesn't it

  1. England
  2. Australia (Aust are teh No.1 attack with their tweakers as Sledger said, but for pace certainly England, but not just because of spee though, Australia have Troy Cooley now so we'll see what happens)
  3. South Africa
  4. Pakistan
  5. New Zealand
  6. West Indies (Up and coming attack)
  7. India (disappointing pace attack, Pakistan proved it)
  8. Bangladesh
  9. Zimbabwe

See you later Gilly! Thanks for the memories!

England by a country mile! Apart from Hoggard , all are quick (90mph) and all are different. Australia have Lee and McGrath and a few kids and Pakistan have Shoiab , Naved and Sami - pretty good units , both!

Because of their tweakers Australia have the better balanced attack - but England more than match them for pace bowlers.

Pakistan have a good pace bowling attack with Akhtar, Naved and Sami.
But I don't think they have the consistency of Australia's or England's
