In Bhatti's last three bowling innings he has taken 4/82, 6/65, and 4/91. In his fourth innings going on right now he has already taken 2 wickets. He looks strong for Canada's future. He's young and only 22 years and has a long way to go. In First Class cricket he has an average of 14, Economy Rate of 2.99, and a strike rate of 29. In six matches he has taken 35 wickets with a best of 8/40. His batting too is not bad.

I voted Yes for him.

But it could help them win the ICC Intercontinental Cup or even come come 2nd or third. Canada have won many games in this cup only because of him. Canada can slowly improve with him over time. I meant he will help show that Canada has potential for the future in cricket in the WC. He even might be the next best bowler for Canada before me .

I  voted  no because I still think is too young to have a major role and a big impact in such a tense tournament as the world cup... and playng for not a major cricket side won't help him.....

Good for a Canadian but probably wouldn't get onto the A-team of most test-playing nations.

good performances in Canadian 1st Class candian cricket isn't really a great way to judge a players ability. I'd like to see how he goes once he plays against top international teams before giving any judgment

5-0 You Beauty!!!!!

Thanks for the many fantastic memories Marto, Langer, Warney & Pidg

You wanna talk international stars how about Dwayne Leverock 7 first-class matches,29 wickets at 22 built as big as the worlds strongest man best figures of 7-59.Aslo George O'Brien & Kevin Hurdle are quick and deadly.

Its good enough for Canada Clapo. After Kenya and U.A.E, Canada are the next best team which is on their way for the Test playing nation tag which will be only after 5 years, but still are doing their level best.

Bhatti and Henry Osinde are by far the best bowling pair outside the test nations.

Unless there is a dramatic improvement in Canadian cricket you've got to be dreaming about canada coming anywhere near close to the level of a test playing nation in 5 years time. Perhaps 15, but not a hope in hell in 5!!!!

Umer Bhatti, what a bowler, emaculate line and length, good height to bang the ball in, steady speed in 80mph, a great prospect, way to go we have another macgrath in the making! though I havent seen or heard about him! If he will not play then who will play a big part in canadiancricket!
