1st test v India 5 and 10                    Average 37.83
2nd test v India 5 and 58
3rd test v India 94 and 55

2nd  ODI v India 1
3rd  ODI v India 0                     Average 19.2 (4.25 not includin the 79)
4th ODI v India 0
5th ODI v india 79
20-20 v India 16

1st test v Pakistan 0 and 32     Average   17.5

Who said he is class?

Aside from being a tool as a human being his technique (ha!) is non existent and all he does is try to bully the bowlers and when that fails - i.e. more often than not these days, so does he

Well, Smith has a lot of problems! He is not technically good. He just plants the front foot a bit down and it just stays there and when there is a good enough lenght ball for a defensive shot, he just nicks it. He is also prone to the ball swinging back into his leg stump! I does see ball to off drive and he carries them to mid on!

Technology is widely used and it's no surprise to see a lot of batsmen out of sorts of late. Their weakness is just at the door ready to be exploited!

Smith's strength is also his weakness. Scoring heavily through midwicket from day 1 of his international debut gave bowlers and captains food for thought.  Playing across the line is fraught with danger and bowlers have exploited this weakness by bowling straighter to him.
When he misses now , he's usually right in front. Often left armers bowling over beat him with inswing and trap him infront , or the ball doesn't swing and he's caught behind the wicket!
He needs to play straighter , he needs to work on his offside driving and he needs to keep his mouth shut!

Losing his aggression is asking too much! No mercy wins you cricket. Cricket is not a game to be played with softy emotions out on the field!

True, but you don't want to be aggressive all the time. There's a balance to be struck.

Yes I guess I agree with you to a certain extent...however....when there is too much agression it can be a bit unsportsmanly (if that's a word) I guess you would get my point though. Agression is good because it puts something extra in the game but you have to know how to control it and sometimes Smith just does not control it.....
Has anyone ever read "calling the shots" by Michael Vaughan???? Remember what he said about Smith.....the whole "witness" thing???
