Ah Ha, that's why I get alot of bounce everytime the batsman plays and misses the bowl bounces over the wicket it annoys me cause it's impossible for me to bowl someone out with the amount of bounce I get.

i thort you turned it half a pitch, youd haveto be pitching it about a meter outside leg to get it over the wicket

I remember the first day I was involved with spin I was 10 and I bowled medium pace I had the gayest action and the slowest deliveries. We had a spinner on my team this was at school he was my mate and everyone hailed him spin king he got abit of spin and alot of bounce. I got jealous of all the intention so I asked for advice he gave me some and now I have the same action as Shane Warne I copied him *shutters*. Jealousy made me what I am today.

You could try bowling a bit more fuller then!!

So far what you have told us about your bowling, you have made out that you would be a nightmare on a pitch that stays low!

What figures did you get when you played on a pith like this

What do you mean I usually bowl fuller length deliveries thats why it bounces over the wicket. By spinning half a pitch I meant say it pitched right on the edge of the pitch it would spin into the middle what did you mean?

I've bowled in 3 innings and I had a chance to bowl on turf wicket but the coach didn't bowl me on there cause it was my 2nd game. Tomorow we place at our home ground but it isint a turf wicket its like this green thing I don't know what you call it. The most ridicilous thing i've bowled on is a lego pitch! I got 2 inches of spin on that, that was a disgrace that pitch we had to use that cause the turf wicket in the centre was being fixed.

Yes I agree, I have a similar action but not the same because the action is the preference of the bowler, it means nothing if you cant bowl straight with it.

I had this rubbish action when I started spinning and I wanted to be like Shane Warne so I copied his exactly but then I couldn't bowl for 3 months on target but I made some smakll changes and am now in tip top form with my nice new action that doesnt make me look stupid when I bowl.

My first action I copied was Danish Kaneria then I usually switch between him and Warne, but i've stuck with his action. Because it looked normal I didn't want to bowl in matches with Kanerias action they'd think im retarted.

Artifical Pitches are terrible,

Did you say that was your clubs home pitch, we have one at are school, it stays unbelievably low, you must be really bouncing the ball if your having trouble hitting the wicket all the time.

it dosnt help that artificial wickets tend to stay wetter for longer, when the wicket is wet the ball tends to keep low...

Yes, thats what you call em. I got my first and only wicket on that pitch I had figures of 0 wickets for 3 runs off 6 overs at one stage but then when they need runs they slaughtered me for 10 runs in consecutive overs. I bowled the batsman out cause the pitch stayed low yes now I get it. But there was no reason to be happy for the wicket cause it was a number 11 batsman and he was terrible but he applauded me so yer.

We've had our bad moments down under. In my first match at our home ground it was literally freezing my fingers where frozen I could not move them properly. Making it hard for me to spin it when I came on I bowled the shockingest bowls to start off with it landed half way of the pitch and bounced twice but came back in that over with the next 6 balls being all dots. But I came back in my 5th over it started raining abit wasn't so bad then came the hail it hurt it froze me luckily it lasted 1 minute I bowled 1 delivery in the hail and it swung the ball in the air and went wide. The most shocking way to kick off my career.

Well I can't see it turning much on wet pitches but these pitches where soaking wet it was like a water slide.
