Any tips? How long do you knock it in for? How often do you add oil? So on so forth? Any help would be appreciated.

Have you got a new bat? You could always buy a pre-knocked in one, if that helps.

i'd probably go for a bit of gentle net practice with an old ball. My mate was joking that after 2 years he should let me borrow his bat to "knock the edges in" funny guy, though after seeing him bat he is probably half right.

Is this a different bat to the one you were knocking in two weeks ago

When you win the toss - bat.
If you are in doubt, think about it - then bat. If you have very big doubts, consult a colleague - then bat. |
