Watson is potentially the best, he just needs to learn how to bat and bowl. |

Watson's lovely blonde hair and his boyish smile seem to be swaying the voters,I wonder if he can dance though? |

Watson is in no way whatsoever better than any of the players on that poll. He bowls a bit and bats a bit. He isn't really good at anything where Symonds is a fantastic batsman who bowls a bit, a little like Michael Clarke. I would rate Brett Lee a better all rounder than Watson. But from the poll, i would have to say Symonds.

By ability? By performance Symonds is the best also, well ahead of Watson. He lifts that Australian one-day side, look at how they're playing with him compared to how they played recently without him.

Not saying he is the best all-rounder i wondered why Brad Hogg wasn't an option? he is considered an all-rounder, but just is a better bowl than bat.

I vote for Symonds, he isn't a legend, but he is a match winner, and what is Shane Watson still doing in the Australian line-up, is is an out cast, should be playing for one of the minnows.

he is a fast bowler and claims to bench 140 kgs and squat 200kgs,
he says he is the the strongest cricketer.
so whats about the ball smackin' roy and haydos????????

And posting the same thing 4 times is silly. It is an interesting enough topic but you dont go around forums asking the same question on lots of topics not even vaguely related to the subject your researching.

Its got to be symonds. I mean how can shane watson be classed as an all rounder when his bowling is atrocious and hes batting isn't anything amazing, cant believe people voted for him. His probably one of the very, very few weak links in the austrailian side.

It has to be Symonds, i mean he is one of the best ODI batsmen of out time. He can also bowl his handy medium pacers or his offie's.

I say Watson...IF he stays in the team enough to get some form and not get injured so often. but that's a big if. Cameron is one for the future, but for now Roy is the go. |

Watson is rubbish, he can't even stay on the field for 50 overs without tearing a hamstring, not to mention the overcoaching he's had. He isn't good enough to be playing for Australia. |

Why is hamstring injuries such a common thing with Aussie cricketers?
