Because their bodies are more finely tuned than other countries.

I'd have to say Symonds, if Australia lose early wickets he can steady the ship. If they needs runs, he can smash it out of the ground. Bowling, he can bowl mediums and off-spins, and quickens the over rate  . Fielding, him and Clarke lift the whole side up.

Watson, he's been injured too much to tell. But definitely for the future.

White only knows one way to play, which is smashing it out of the ground. This can be bad if early wickets fall. His bowling needs to improve quite considerably to be considered an allrounder.

Michael Clarke should be on that list by the way.

Watson's the worst cricketer Australia has ever produced, he ought to be on 'who's Australia's biggest joke as a cricketer list'.
Good one Graham!

I have a feeling he might make the NZ team if he was a kiwi. He is not a bad bat, his bowling is pretty average though and his body is just too fragile to link some games together. You musn't have seen much aussie cricket in the 80's bondy if you think he is the worst of our lot.

Kiwi team is not that bad. Watson won't even get into the NZ team. NZ don't need an allrounder. All they need is a good batsman and there are better batsman than Watson. He has a highest score of 79 from 49 ODI's.

Majority of those innings down the order, he would walk into opening the bat for the kiwis. He has had quite a few very good state knocks.

Nope, I saw nothing of cricket in the 80's, except NZ was at its strongest during that period when I was a tot.
Good one Graham!
