i think as the south african team matures, they can eventually be almost all alrounders! mark boucher, shaun pollock, andrew hall, jaques kallis, boje (or botha when he learns how to bowl again!, or both!), kemp, and then the ultimate guy mr AB devilliers, who can bowl some medim pace, exceptional fielder, great batsman wherever he bats, and is a great keeper to!
need i say anymore!

england have a good crop
freddie, giles, rikki clarke, wharf to an extent, collingwood and bell both take wickets in county cricket, plunkett, anthony mcgrath, bicknell scores some runs, loudon, dominic cork.....these arent out and out all rounders, but they are pretty handy.

Ashley Giles took three good wickets, outbowling Shane Warne who matched him in the scorebook, but not on the field

yeah thats fair enough shout razzaq_fan that most of them are much better at one discipline rather than another...agree with u there, which is why some of them get labelled bits and pieces cricketers such as mcgrath when he played for england....like your giles comment by the way!

Very funny skip.... Would hardly call Razzaq the best allrounder at the moment though Razzaq Fan. Flintoff, Kallis & Vettori are the top 3 IMO

Name Abdul RAzzaq
Mat Runs HS Ave &nb sp; Wkts Ave BB Team
211 4152 112 30.08 230 30.49 6-3 PAK
As an all rounder he has the highest avg in bowling and in batting most other all rounders are only good for either batting or bowling. I think the rest is pretty self explanatory.

I agree with you taht he has a good record, but i just don't think he is in the same league as Kallis & Flintoff. Compare their records against Razzaq's over the last 2/3 years and you'll see what i mean.

i know clapo but he maybe just going through a bad stage in his career i agree he might be tied with freddy but i think kallis is a much better batsman than he is a bowler not saying hes a bad bowler but razzaq i just think he is better bowler and a pure genuine all rounder very similar to flintoff.

Another allrounder thread !!
Go discuss on any of the other gazillion threads please. You might have started this to discuss which TEAM has the most allrounders , but it's quickly degenerated into another "who's the best allrounder"
That sounded it's deathknell.
