Average of 40.19 and a hopeless strike rate of 70.16!

oh ,, I was browsing through all the so called great's of cricket in both forms of the game ,, both in ODI and test ... fianlly My faith has re-inforced ,,, when you see SR+AVG in ODI's and AVG in Tests ,,, really only two players are the best for all these years

Sachin followed by Lara ..... yes my Golden bracket has to be modified

{1st Sachin,2nd Lara ,and no one else}

thts what I told both Rahul and Inzy are waste in ODI's

They avg same in ODI ,, but Inzy SR in 4 runs more per hundred balls ,,, while In tests where SR dosent matter ,,, Dravid averages 7 runs more per innings of test match.

Actually your 'Golden Bracket would also have to include Ponting as he has a better ODI and Test average than Lara.

yes ,, if he performs like this for anathor 3-4 years he might overtake sachin and Lara on final counts

Actually Inzi has a better ODI average by 0.03!

But then Dravid has a better test average by 7 runs.

Well, he's already over-taken Sachins Test average which has been on the drop lately. He has a better test average then both Lara and Sachin and he has a better ODI average then Lara.

If he continues like this, then he will over-take Sachin and Lara in no time.

S Rate - 171 ,, well this is what a batsman can do when just slogging without caring for the team .

Some times it comes ,, some times it dosent ,,, but whatever with such attitude your stike rate will always remain more than 150 for a good slogging batsman.

MArtyn isnt a slogger and he didnt slug, he played mostly normal orthodox strokes, fantastic innings.

I have seen some kids playing cricket around my house..as they are kids, they just aim at the boundary sixer evry ball.Just trying for each ball to make it a six..If it connects..wow a sixer!!!.  Many times  they succeeded too.Hey i wonder they are more aggressive than  Afridi..? (bcoz he is also such a batsman)

in my view is afridi is far more aggressive than that sehewag coz sehewag deals in boundry while afridi deals in sixes and he plays some nagging stop in any situation.

Let me tell you something. "Aggression is defined as*The act of initiating hostilities or invasion.*The practice or habit of launching attacks.*Hostile or destructive behavior or actions."

No one displays that definition as good as Afridi.

Aggression is simply what the definition says and you guys cannot change the definition. No where does it say anything about consistency being a part of aggression!

So now, you guys can just shut up! Any other stupid comment you want to make?

Yea, I completely agree. He is not selfish at all. He plays fast and as ramzi said if he was selfish he would take 50 balls to score 10 runs...but if you look at him, he can score a century in 50 balls.

afridi is more agressive than shewag as he has the ability to hit sixes that no one has. even though his techniques are not good his ability to time and hit the ball hardly makes him one of the most agresssive player in the world. even though shewag is great hitter of ball he needs to learn many things.

afridi is one of the best timer of the balls if he can hit 7 sixes in an innings that means he times the ball to perfection he dosent just go bang bang bang he goes and watches the ball
