What i know about him is he has good hand eye cordination and so has shewag.

But more aggressive would be afridi. Both of them are a treat to watch when they are not playing against us.

I still remember his 2nd odi where afridi just murdred SL when he scored the fastest 100

I watched a video of that. That was crazy. Afridi just wouldn't stop.

Afridi and Sehwag have both started 2006 with great innings...except Sehwag has gotten a better start.

I think Sehwag will hit a triple century tomorrow and become the third player in history to hit 2 triple centuries.

Thank god he didn't get the tripe ton and thank god that he got out too or his average would've probably went up to 59 or maybe even 60. His average before this match was 53, and suddenly its 56.73 or something like that.

Mohammad Yousuf's test average is reaching the 50 mark. Its 49.86 or somewhere around there.

Sehwag is technically one of the worse batsmen in the world, he has no footwork at all whatsoever, some players have little footwork but that is alrught he has none, not a good batsmen and doesnt deserve tyhat average.

See you later Gilly! Thanks for the memories!

ODIs and 20/20 has given way to a lot of technically incorrect batsmen and unfortunately a one time beautiful game of cricket has changed into  baseball and will remain so,and people are loving it,

I have started calling players like Afridi, dhoni, sehwag, pieterson, cairns, symonds as entertainers rather than cricketers, so they are good to watch, would always be having good averages specially in ODI but please try not to compare them with classy batsmen.

Shewag is a player who really relies on hand eye cordination.

Arjuna Ranatunga rated him as the finest along side Romesh Kaluwitharana who could destroy a bowling attack without going over the top(just playing along the ground)

Can you please use some proper punctuation and stuff because I had to read that 5 times before I understood what you were trying to say.

I think in reply to ANIL KUMBLE's last post in this thread, you said (or meant to say): Its better, this way he has less chances of getting out and he's getting enough runs.

Well in this series both have done well. Afridi has scored two quick centuries while Sehwag made a really quick double century

Looks like Afridi's performance has shut them both up.

krisdy has been unwell, by the way which is why he hasn't been around.

Mebz, watch your language please, there's no need to swear to make your point.

Afridi can't not be classified as a 'great' player. He has been in good form against India but that doesn't make him great. If Afridi can continuously perform like this for another 12 years, then he might be classified as 'great'.
