As there are no sims going on at the moment, I've decided to start one, it will be a mangaer/sim game, where you will get youre own team off me and then will pick nets and team name, and lineups and who bowls etc, and then we will see who becomes victorious. Its a bit like Battrick really, but simpler.

So it will be a league format with 6 teams, and then the 1st and 2nd place teams at the end of the round robin will play off in the final.

There will be Transfers of couse each team will be granted 20,000 ponds starting money.

Teams will make negotions on THIS page.

Right, whose up for it then

Team 1:

Robbie's Team

Team 2:

SW Slaves

Team 3:

BFM Carnarges

Team 4:

CC MIB

Team 5:

Team 6:

Interesting idea, I won't be joining at the moment but I'll watch with keen interest.
County Sim on extended break until I've got less work and more free time. When I have a specific date, I'll post it in the thread.

Zak Manger                        41               38           60             18
Jeffery Archer                     71   16    15     30

Right you pick captain, WK , and a team, the 1st game will be on thursday, it will be a friendly just to see how it works unless i get the fulll 6 players, you can have up to 3 players on the transer market at once, but  be warned there ARE injuries and if you sell 3 players and dont buy, and have 2 players injured, you play with 10. If you want to put someone up for sale, just post it, and there will be 30 hours to bid. Good luck, any queries, just post.

Right, as some teams might not be as good as each other, we will have a net system which is simple but i had kit made for me ages ago for other sims, this will not be the same system as MP12s so you can relax ;).

Right.... there are 4 BOTS

BOT 1 (easy)
BOT 2 (med)
BOT 3 (hard)
SUPERBOT! (super)

as a player has points, e.g bat 56. If he wanted to bat against BOT 1 he would and he would have to get 75+ to move up 1 point if he hit 150+ he would go up 2 points. But against BOT 1 if he got less than 5 he would move down one, so theres a bit of a risk, but the odds are, the player will get more than 5.

So scenario Player Bat 56 has 3 batting nets

Batting net 1 79 (87) +1 (he now has a batting rating of 57)
Batting net 2 189 (273) +2 (he now has a batting rating of 59)
Batting net 3 1 (4) -1 (he now has a rating of 55)

Right so in simple terms here are the bots

BOT 1, 75+     +1     , 150+     +2    ,   5-    -1
BOT 2, 60+     +1     , 125+     +2    ,   3-    -1
BOT 3, 50+     +1     , 100+     +2    ,   1   or 2      -1
SBOT 35+     +1,       75+      +2,         DUCK    -1

this may look pretty east, but be warned it isn't.

For Bowling:

if there was a player with a bowling rating of 56 if he bolwed BOT 1 out for less than 25 they get 1 point, in single figures 2, but if the bot scores more than 75, they get lose 1.

BOT 1 25-    +1, 9-       +2, 75+     -1
BOT 2 30-    +1, 15-     +2, 80+     -1
BOT 3 40-    +1, 25-     +2, 90+     -1
SBOT  50-    +1, 30-     +2, 100+   -1

Unfortunately, there are NOT YET anyways to improve fielding or WK ing so...until then..thats wot ya got!

Right, if you are in desperate need of players, with no cash, there are always the Unemployed players, who will be free of course but after saying "I want him" there will be a 90 minute wait a) to register and b) if anyone else wants him a bidding war will commence. So, if u need a player, best get one way before a game. Soo.....the unemployeed are. By the way, the maximum your squad can have is 21 players.

Brian Haverstock    19    16    81     91
Jeffery Archer          71   16    15     30
Michael Woods       51    14     52   57
Neil Gaffer               31    12    41   56
Scott Walker           4      23    8      6
Simon Farrell          89     90    34    41 (lets just say he got ina row with the gaffer)
Tyrone Eccles          12   32    13    14

three bowling nets for Hearts against bot 1. I was just wondering why aren't there plus three points too for really big scores or getting people out on ducks or something. How many nets can we have. as many as we wish or there's a limit. Thanks for the answers.
