Simply coz every1 who plays in that team is really proud to wer thier jersey. They all play their part n bak each other up {eg. if the top order doesnt perform Gilli n Lee bat well}.The Aussies knw that if they dnt perform they r gna get dropped{eg Clarke,Martyn,Katich}, unlyk in oytha teams players who are nt performing well are kept in the team{eg.Boje}"sorry man bt u do nutin for SA"

So, what's your point. We know the Aussies are the best, but I can tell you that they won't be the best in about 5 years time.

Too many politics involved as well, its ruined the pakistan team for years. Not till the Inzamam/Woolmar era has it sorted itself out.

Before it was the Waqar and Wasim AND friends team.

Not only that, they probably go into each match like Premiership Football Managers do, study each oponent and their tactics for the coming matches.

I completely agree with you. Politics has been the main source of ruining Pakistani cricket for years. Inzamam and Woolmer have brought a huge change into the Pakistan team and I commend them for that.

Yeah credi goes to Inzi & the Coach. But there is another imp. point to note. Previously out of 11 players in Pakistani Team, there used to be 6 or 7 captains. So how could it become a good team. Presently induction of youth in the team and not relying on any one player, has brought the dramatic change.

So far as Aussies as a best team as concerned, i think they were the best because they were really a team in its true spirit. TEAM Play was the key to success. Its was partiular with Aussies that despite having their wicket falling after regualr intervals, they never let the run rate down and finally a good partnership enabled them to pile up a huge total. Best in batting, fielding, bowling and team play.

LOLLLLL

Boje is useless isnt he, he is used as a front line spinner when he even said himself that he is a middle order batsmen that can bowl occasional spin, he is as good as a part timer. HE bowls very defensive aswell. Plain useless. Also Hamish Marshall y the hell stick with him???

hence their success.

Most pakistani players look out for number 1 *cough*shoaib*cough*afridi*cough*sami*cough*wasim*cough*

Waqar*cough*most players in past few years*cough

Sorry about that, a rage of coughing that could not be helped

The Pakistani team, you gotta love 'em, never seen a more comical team.

Ok, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis were great players and were number 1.

I don't care what you say about the rest but Wasim and Waqar were great.

they were great, but they are also the reason for failure, they didnt allow new blood to get into the team, hence their abissmal performance until inzy became captain.

Aussies are best because they have Andrew Symonds? That's completely wrong.

Aussies are best because they have the best players in the world.

Yeah this is a very good Pakistan team. Pakistans batting has been so good of late I think they will easily be able to score over 500 against Australia. Their bowlers might struggle but there again, Australia's batsmen (except for Ponting) are not in the best of form

I don't think you can count out the Aussies so easily. As good as Pakistan might be at the moment, they won't just crush Australia. It'll be a hard competition, and hopefully at the end, Pakistan will be the team on top.

look at there bowling and battin attack. they have shane warne and glenn mcgrath and the supreme pace of brett lee. also the new sing bowler nathan bracken. and their batting line up with hayden and langer opening both made many hundred and hayden making the sceond highest score in an innings. ponting a great captain and has made over 8000 runs and hussey and hodge both new to game but have proved that they deserve the place. hussey making hundreds and hodge making double huindred. also with symonds good with the ball and bat and a great fielder with a superior shot at the stumps. and they also back each other up..

thats why they are the best!

People were saying exactly that 20 years ago,and they will still be spouting it in another 20 years.

i don't think any1 knows who will be the best in 5 years time, that will depend on which team finds the right mix of youth, experience, batting & bowling, it seems pointless trying to predict whot it will be now
