Really stupid stuff from the PCB. They might end up getting a few dollars in their pockets though. On a positive note, this year hopefully in all likelihood likelihood is going to be the last troublesome year for Pakistan. Our armed forces are carrying a huge operation on the militants. But I cant see the WC happening in Pakistan for sure. There was always an option of Pakistan hosting their home games in UAE though.

I donot support this act of PCB but I agree with them that the way ICC handle this issue was wrong, they had taken decision in minutes(may be BCCI was forcing them) without consulting Pakistan.

True, the manner may have been wrong but the decision was justified and inevitable. They are just over reacting.

It's politics guys, they don't really see eye to eye with us.

Pakistan might just be able to host the WC. There is a high chance of matches being played in UAE.

One man's last is another man's gain - UAE will benefit a lot as a nation!  It's a magnificently attractive looking place too, good for the Cricketers.

Sorry SW , I can't agree.  The UAE is not a cricketing country and no amount of money will change that in the near future. Pakistan's problems are unfortunate and it's understandable that they seek the help of a neighboring state - but the passion won't be there.
Mental disintegration works for me !!

I wasn't speaking Cricket wise, more so from a tourism perspective for UAE.

Yes, I realised that.  I saw a picture of a place in UAE and it was a guy's house.  The place looked as if it could hold the whole of St. Vincent's population in it - the guys over there are bloody rich it seems.
