well. ive got a way of landing my yorker where it needs to be, even though theres work to be done on accuracy.
im still working on my bouncer though.
it anoys me that nets dont let you bounce it by having that gap in the middle.

anyways, i was just wondering if anone has their own ways of landing these deliveries spot on every time or needs help with them. or even when or how they like to use them.

I need help on a bouncer, because mine doesn't carry even though I smash it into the pitch hard. Could it be to do with my wrist action?

You've got to push your wrist through to give it that extra bit needed. Also, if you bowl with a high arm action that should help with the bounce.

I bowl with a high-arm action, but I need to work on my wrist action.

It goes forward like any usual wrist action, but sometimes it doesn't. At training today it was good and the reason why my bouncer wasn't carrying was because of my runup.

I worked on it, turns out that my arms move sideways, but my feet move the momentum forward, and it was just my arms.

I fixed it a tiny bit and the bouncer carried at great pace. It's actually amazing what the runup does for you as a pace bowler.

My bouncer doesn't carry if the ball is really soft and old, but if it's still hard, it carries, worked on it abit more at training today, and hit my mate in the shoulder with one. It was my runup that was the problem, just abit more work on the wrist and it should be fine.

To be honest, that is a given if it is hard and new. A soft ball might not as you have said but a new hard ball should.
