Whatever you say, statistically or by performance in victories....

Younis is faar faaar faaaaar ahead of Sehwag....

Just look at the way Sehwag has failed miserably against England in the current test

... and look at Younis's match and series winning performances against England!!!!

Need i say more???

Sehwag is still, in my mind, one of the most destructive opening batsmen in the world. No-one can play quite so aggresively, for me, as an opener in tests despite his recent lack of form against England and the like. He WILL bounce back!

Sehwag saved his skin in the 2nd innings in the 2nd test after 3 failures against England....

He was on course to join Laxman otherwise...

Excause me! Did you just say that our players don't have guts, class or stats? All our players have guts, but we are not like you to always go arguing for everything and using our courage for stupid reasons. During the test match when shoaib said something to dravid, he didn't say anything back, is that what you mean by guts? There's a time and place for everything and our players know it. I'm not saying anything bad about your players, nor am i saying that all our players are perfect, but we have guts to show when neccessary. And about class and stats, i don't think you've either watched our players or looked at their stats. Over the years, our batting line up has been known to be one of the best. Class is something which you've got to look for. Not all your batsmen have class and even not all of us. But to tell the truth, i think that our batsmen have more class to show than yours.

Infact I have made a few groups

Sachin, Inzimam, Lara, Ponting...... Class acts

Dravid, Younis, Sangakara, Kalis,martyn,....... Dependable

Yuvraj, Butt, Pieterson,Rudolf, Hussy ....... Upcoming & Improving

Afridi, Sehwag, Dhoni, Gilchrist, Symonds, Hinds,......Pinch hitters

I am not being bias, but Dravid is a class act also. You should have not put the class dependable. You should have called it something else. Dravid doesn't come along with players like Sangakara and Younis. Even Kallis doesn't, or Gilchrist or Symonds. even Hussey should be in the dependable calss.

khan 16 not outs in odis and sehwag only 7 no wonder and sehwag still averages more by the way sehwag has the tougher job opeing the batting so looks like sehwag is 3 no 4 no 5 times better then your younis khan if he had no not outs in odis hes average would be just as bad as afridis and only one odi ton not good enough

sehwag has not been in great form lately but outside the sub-contenent he is a much better player he scored 195 or 180 in melbourne against australia and in england but khan i don't know 1 country other then inside the sub-contenent where he has scored a century hes been in better form in the past few months then sehwag but sehwag to me is a better player and hes only 24 or 26

First of all, Younis Khan has a better technique than Sehwag. Sehwag's averages lie! He doesn't deserve that outstanding 50+ Test average! He can't even move his feet. He's like my 5 year old cousin who just swings his bat without moving his feet.

Thats y sehwag opens the innings and been a successful opener in both tests and ODIs.He has that virtue of not moving his feet and still scoring centuries, especially against pakistan!!!He loves paki bowlers...
Moreover he plays orthodox shots n thts wut makes him a special player. On the other hand younis comes at the wicket when the spinners r bowling n the field is open to accumulate runs in his kitty...and  his style of playing is really pathetic to watch.i guess most of his runs would come thru this nudges, pushes&inside edges. Sehwag was the topscorer in NZ under testing conditions where scoring on those swinging pitches made life miserable even for the hosts and where scoring 200 ensured victory!!!there are other countless instances like these...

Sorry but i don't agree with you there saad. Obviously sehwag does deserve the 50+ average... otherwise he wouldn't have it.. but also considering he is an opening batsmen, which means his average is not inflated by Not Outs and he has kept the average for 42 test matches is outstanding by anyones record
