Well being an Indian I like my India the most but my favourite team is New Zealand because they are so unpredictable these days, they can beat anybody just like they beating Australia with a whitewash of 3-0, that was amazing!!

Certainly was! But unfortunately that series is more likely to be remembered for who wasn't there as opposed to who was there and faced defeat.

Surrey all the way!!!!!
Does anyone think New Zealand could perhaps pull off a 2020 world championships win if they find some form? I dont really like them as they aren't as entertaining as Australia, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. They lack a super star batsman. |

Any of the test nation can win it. Form or no form, they'll just swing that willow. Even a mistime shot go for 6 these days!

I totally agree with you that it is anybody's game now in 20-20 WC.
But I really like the players like Stephen Fleming(he proved what a captain he is), Brendon Mccullum, Peter Fulton(pretty new), Scott Styris, Jacob Oram, Lou Vincent and Shane Bond. All these are real match winners in recent times. New Zealand never looked so good team to me previously!! Although everybody have different school of thought. Cheers!! |

i suppose youre right there wizard. Do you emember Matthey Hayden's one hand six off Marlon Samuels. The second most remarkable shot I've ever seen after KP's reverse sweep off Murali. |

Shane Bond is the massive difference in the kiwi side. When he's playing, they're such a stronger unit!

Im starting to like Cricketisgame! Yup, those guys are all great players and some of them are highely underrated. Especially someone like Brendon McCullum, hes one that has the ability to win a 20/20 match. And, no, we do not have a superstar batsman like Ponting, Dravid or Tendulkar but thats not always a guaranteed recipe for success.

Bond, is our best player. No doubt. But, a T20 game is primarily designed for batsman- his bowling performances are hardly going to be pivotal compared to what his counterparts can do with the bat.
NZ won't win the tournament. Australia Inda or South Africa will. West Indies are the wild card for me.

No predictions from me with who's the winner. All the test nations are capable, except Bang that is. Rifat will kill me fo this. |

India can't win it for one simple reason - they field like
pensioners. T20 is all about athleticism and SL are the only side
in the subcontinent that field well.
Australia are the side to beat , but watch Sri Lanka , I like their chances , along with England , of course. |

India have some of the most explosive batsman in World Cricket, they're more of a threat than England!

Seeing that Dada, Tendulkar and Dravid are missing, I reckon India's chances are gone a long way. All those players can adopt and they are a massive loss to India. Their bowling attack is crap too! I know I'm being harsh but it's the reality! I ain't hear anybody talking about my boys. I bet you they'll beat the Proteas left, right and center. youre right there Sam but I am not talking about success, I am talking about entertainment. I personally dont find them very interesting to watch as they dont have any batsman that youre glued to watching unlike England with Pietersen, India with Tendulkar, Pakistan with Afridi and Yousuf, Australia with Gilchrist and Sri Lanak with Jayasuriya. |
