I am a DIE-HARD fan of Pakistan. I'm not a realist, I'm an optimist! No matter how bad the situation is, I always keep faith in my team to somehow pull of something magical. That's how I am...most times, especially these past few months, I've been constantly disappointed by our performance. I try my best to look at the bright side of it; Tanvir's a good prospect, Yousuf's in the form of his life...It's just that we lose so much...but I still love Pakistan!!!
Regulation without integration leads to suicide.

....Well when I made that post Lara was playing.....since he has left I have lost interest in the sport on the whole. I guess that means it wasn't the windies team that I really liked...and I definately wasn't being patriotic....I just liked them for Lara....Big%20smile

That's quite a lot of team to support.  Simplify it for us, which is your number one?

West Indies is my home team so my loyalty is with them but the team that attracts me the most after is India.  It's mainly down to the long line of very talented and entertaining batsman they have and they are very elegant too which makes it a very sublime scene to see when they are batting.  Sehwag, Tendulkar, Ganguly, Laxman, Dravid, Dhoni, Yuvraj, Raina, Kohli, Sharma all have something to amaze you with, although some have some very big weakness but that's why I love India.  Harbhajan is a character for me and Zaheer is brilliant with the ball.  Other than that, nothing for the bowlers.

Apart from India at premiere #1 spot.

My loyalties to other teams have been strange and staggered
- As a kid Aus from '87 to 90
- SA from their introduction to 96 (followed by Aus)
- Aus 96 to 99 World Cup. (followed by SA)
- NZ/WI till '99-2007
- Eng from 2003 - till date

Firstly I support Warwickshire, obviously because I’m from Birmingham, Brummie.

Aston Villa Football Club. My older two lads have season tickets in the ‘Holte End’

England cricket team

In England club comes before country. I’m not too big on flags and symbols and tend to leave that sort of thing to the symbol minded!

I support all cricket, as it’s by far the best sport England gave the world in my humble opinion.

My older two lads are football, my two younger lads play cricket for Beacon Cricket club south Staffordshire / Worcestershire. So I follow them of course. I do have a 18 year old daughter but she just plays her face. Wink

Flipper, do you like fishes (flipper) or do you know a thing or two about leg breaks?  Something tells me it's neither, so why the name? haha

We're not to far apart either mate.  Love leg breaks, love Warnie too, would like to name my son off a Cricketer but i'm not sure any girl nowadays here would approve it and even though I only went fishing 4 times, I loved it.  Always wish I could go again.  Only difference with me and you is you're probably 3 times older than me.

Greatest cricketer? You mean like, better than Bradman?
And I got to wonder where Murali and Tendulkar rate.....
You know, I'm trying to decide whether to change my siggy or not...

Sir Gary Sobers is the greatest Cricket, could do anything that could be done at that time in Cricket.

There may have been better batters, bowlers, fielders, fitter guys but combined, none can match sir Gary.
