Following on from a conversation we had here in the CW office.

If you had to choose one subject to answer questions on (ie. your 'Mastermind' specialist subject) what would it be?

I'll get the ball rolling, after much head-scratching I decided on 'The Download Festival 2003-2011', think i'd be pretty solid on that.

I saw someone did Iron Maiden on Mastermind a couple of years ago, and I got more right that she did, so I reckon I would be on solid ground on that topic.

I guess it'd have to be comic books?  It's something I've been into since i was young, have gathered quite a lot of info, i'd like to think LOL

If not that, it'd probably be a specific video game.

I'd go with the Anglo-Boer War 1899-1902 - fascinating subject and I've travelled to all the major battle sites in South Africa.  I still get a lump in the throat  when I think of the 300 meter long mass grave on Spionkop.

Simply Cricket for me!  It's the only thing I know inside out!

Should have been more precise - Islamic history is my area of specialization. Though I do have a grip on the world history too as I am pursuing my doctorate in the subject
